The shock of being hated in a whole new way: they wouldn’t feel the need to mobilize against us if we weren’t winning. They wouldn’t rage against our power— political power, cultural impact, agency to consent— if we weren’t successfully and heroically making our power known. They wouldn’t call themselves incel if the tide of rape culture wasn’t turning against them. They’d still just call themselves men. The mantle of white heteropatriarchy was all-encompassing, they could victimize us silently, but now they use, steal our language of rebellion, as though they’re the ones under attack. They see themselves as small and weak in the face of our power, and they hate it. They’ve mistaken our calls for empathy for suppression. They’ve mistaken our calls for equality for suppression. They’ve mistaken this new beginning for a culmination (there’s so much more to be done). They rage only against themselves. Our power is not a monolith. It’s a pomegranate tree. Let them come. Hello bbs I will not bore or guilt you about how LATP’s “emotional labor” up until now has been totally free— it’s not really a thing IMHO, because I fully volunteered to do this work on a $free & public social media platform, and have loved every second of it, and I’m not going anywhere. So I I sort of hate to do this? but, I am experiencing my Saturn return and am learning about how the ways in which “value” & its implications in a material sense play into/ reinforce/ renew/ balance/ etc. the way in which one values oneself. This is not to say that money and wealth is remotely correlative with human value— as though value in that sense could ever be evaluated in those terms— (I mean look at our fucking president— very rich and made entirely out of post-consumer garbage) but it’s sort of more about boundaries and really, if you don’t advocate for yourself literally no one will. Anyway, my point is that I am working to keep LATP expanding— MERCH, anyone?!— and it takes fund$ to do so. If you enjoy this (gratis) programming and would like to see more of it and would like to support the Work_of_This_Pusssy, I will encourage you to go to 💸http://paypal.me/LookAtThisPussy💸(link in bio). Also pls tell me in the komment ur thoughts regarding emotional labor and it’s “value” and what that’s means in your life, AND tell me if u would enjoy to purchase pussy- style merchandise and donate to planned parenthood whil$t doing so ILYSM I appreciate goodbye 📷@anjuabigail
